The best business leaders aren't just talented — they're trained. And for some of them, that training started long before they ever stepped into a boardroom. Business MVP takes you inside the real stories of elite athletes, coaches, and sports entrepreneurs who've translated what they learned on the field into extraordinary success in business. Through candid conversations, we break down the habits, mindset, and leadership principles that drive performance under pressure — and explore how these leaders are building businesses, leading teams, and using their platforms to create meaningful impact through philanthropy and community work. We go beyond the highlight reel. This is about the discipline, the setbacks, the pivots, and the championship mindset that turns competitors into business leaders. Hosted by Sammy Peterson — legal strategist, executive leader, and mom of three competitive athletes — this show sits at the intersection of sports, business, and leadership. Sammy brings both strategic insight and real-world perspective to every conversation. If you want to think sharper, lead better, and compete at an MVP level — in business and in life — this is the playbook. Connect with Sammy on Instagram and LinkedIn.

You built the life you were supposed to want. So why doesn't it feel like enough? Passion Struck is the #1 Health and Fitness podcast — and it exists to answer exactly that question. I'm John R. Miles — Navy veteran, former Fortune 50 executive, bestselling author — and I built this show because I lived the "successful but empty" version of life myself, and I wanted to find a better way. Each week, I sit down with the world's top voices in neuroscience, psychology, medicine, and elite performance — including Angela Duckworth, Susan Cain, Robert Waldinger, Daniel Amen, and Ryan Holiday — to unpack what the research tells us about purpose, connection, and resilience, and how to apply it to your own life. Fridays, I share what I'm learning directly, in solo episodes built around the same ideas. New interviews every Tuesday and Thursday. Solo episodes every Friday.
A podcast is like a radio program, with the difference that you can listen whenever and where ever you like. You can listen to a podcast through different platforms via the Internet.
In order to listen to a podcast you need access to a computer or a phone with Internet access. Then you need to find an app or website with a library of podcasts. American Podcasts is just one of all services you can use.
Which podcast is the most popular differs from day to day, depending on a lot of things. For an up-to-date list of the most popular podcasts right now, check out our top chart.
There are a lot of apps and websites available where you can listen to podcasts. Some podcasts are even exclusively available on a certain platform. The most used services today are Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Podtail.
Every day new podcasts are launched and some are ending. There are currently over 2 million podcasts available for streaming, from all over the world. To find new, interesting podcasts we recommend using our Trending chart or our top chart.
Basically anyone can launch their own podcast but if you want to really build an audience you need:
Yes, basically! All you really need is a computer or a phone with Internet access. After that you need to record your content and upload it to what is called a "podcast host" which makes your episodes available to the Internet.
To record a podcast you need an app or software that records sound. For phones there are a bunch of apps to record with, and for computers a lot of people use a free piece of software called Audacity.
When you have recorded your podcast and uploaded it to your podcast host it’s time to get the word out there. Maybe you want your podcast to be available on Apple Podcasts or Spotify? Different platforms have different procedures for getting listed in their libraries and the podcast host often makes sure you’r podcast gets out there. Services like Add My Podcast make it possible to submit your feed to many services at once.

Learn from history's greatest entrepreneurs. Every week I read a biography of an entrepreneur and find ideas you can use in your work. This quote explains why: "There are thousands of years of history in which lots and lots of very smart people worked very hard and ran all types of experiments on how to create new businesses, invent new technology, new ways to manage etc. They ran these experiments throughout their entire lives. At some point, somebody put these lessons down in a book. For very little money and a few hours of time, you can learn from someone’s accumulated experience. There is so much more to learn from the past than we often realize. You could productively spend your time reading experiences of great people who have come before and you learn every time." —Marc Andreessen

His recitation style is often described as serene and deeply moving, creating a spiritually engaging atmosphere. As a prominent scholar and reciter in Nigeria, Sheikh Abdullahi Abba Zaria has dedicated his life to the service of the Holy Quran. While specific details about his formal education, the names of his direct teachers, or the institutions where he studied Quranic sciences are not extensively documented in widely accessible public sources, it is understood that he received his training within the traditional Islamic education system prevalent in northern Nigeria, which emphasizes rigorous memorization and mastery of the Quran and its sciences under learned scholars. He is known to have served as an Imam and has been actively involved in Islamic da’wah (preaching) and education within his community. His contributions extend to teaching Quranic recitation and Islamic knowledge to students.

Maher Al Mueaqly has hailed from the city of the Prophet ﷺ. Sheikh Maher Ibn Hamd Ibn Mueaql Al Mueaqly Al Baloui was brought into this world in 1969 and has been a welcome addition into the world of Quran recitation and preaching. Being a mastermind in the study of Mathematics, Sheik Maher took to leading prayers in numerous Masajids in Makkah and Madinah which later gave way for him being designated as the official advisor to Prince Abdul Majid in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. His career took a slight detour and he routed himself into teaching at the King Abdullah Saud University in Makkah. Simultaneously, Shaykh Maher completed his Doctorate in the year 2012 from Umm Al Qura University. Initially asked to serve as an Imam in Masjid Al Nabawi in 2006 and 2007, he was finally handed over permanent Imamat at the Mosque of mosques, Masjid Al Haram in Makkah in 2007. This was a landmark achievement for this gifted Shaykh and this was soon to be followed by another feather in his bejeweled cap which was having the ultimate privilege and honor of leading the Taraweeh prayers alongside another magnanimous personality, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais in 2008. He has managed to lead the prayers as an Imam alongside many other greats in the field, mainly Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al Juhany and Sheikh Khalid Al Ghamdi. Sheikh Maher is now serving as Khateeb of Masjid Al Haram in Ramadan 2016 on the orders of King Salman.

Two Doting Dads is a podcast series that follows the parenting escapades of two good mates, Matty J and Ash Wicks. Like all good modern relationships, they met on Instagram and instantly bonded over the fact that they were both sleep-deprived Dads doing their best to dote over their two children. They share a very laid-back style to parenting, they don't pretend to be experts and they celebrate every single parenting mishap (which there are plenty). If you're listening for parenting advice, you've come to the wrong podcast.

You’ve heard of the “ManFlu” — that mysterious illness that somehow hits men way harder than any woman could ever fathom. Well, we’re not handing out tissues. We’re here to talk about the real stuff underneath it: the disconnection, the imbalance, and how we can start to change it.The ManFlu is a metaphor we use to dig into something deeper: the cultural scripts, gender roles, and unspoken rules that keep men sidelined and leave women carrying more than their share of the mental and emotional load.Host Lucy McAfee has spent years studying how gender dynamics play out at home. As a wife and boy mom, she’s still working them out in her own family. Each week, The ManFlu brings together researchers, thinkers, and families themselves to explore emotional labor, modern partnerships, and how we raise more connected boys. Together, we examine why these patterns persist, how they affect families, and the practical shifts that build stronger partnerships today and help break old patterns for the next generation. You’ll leave each episode not just nodding along, but equipped with one small shift you can try at home.Join us to lighten the load and build a future where women and men can both show up as their whole selves. New episodes drop every Wednesday, follow the show so you don’t miss one. And share it with your friends, because no one should have to face the ManFlu epidemic alone.Follow Lucy on Instagram @lucypmcafee for more on gender dynamics, mental and emotional load, and raising boys who care. This show catalogs knowledge, shares stories, and reminds us: there was a life before shale. And there will be one after. Stories straight from the oilfield, real insights, lessons learned, and (probably) a healthy pour of whiskey.
The Wild Quiet is a podcast about nature—and our place within it. Host Bre Harris follows her curiosity into conversations with scientists, gardeners, writers, farmers, artists, herbalists, naturalists, and other people who help us look more closely at the world around us. Some episodes are conversations; others are shorter explorations of ordinary things that turn out to be surprisingly strange. Together, they ask what changes when we slow down, pay attention, and reconsider what we thought we already knew about nature.
