Tune into Joe Budden and his friends. Follow along the crazy adventures of these very random friends.
DISGRACELAND is an award-winning music and true crime podcast about musicians getting away with murder and behaving very badly. Jerry Lee Lewis's 5th wife? Dead. Sid and Nancy? Both dead. Why? Because musicians are insane, and insane things happen to them. Why did we lose Amy Winehouse at 27? Was Debbie Harry really abducted by Ted Bundy as she claims? Is Patti Smith not just the "Godmother of Punk", but also the "Original True Crime Girl"? What really happened the night of the Jay Z nightclub stabbing? What do the Diddy indictments truly reveal? All these stories and more, on artists from every genre and their true crimes, in our massive 260-plus story archive. The Dead, the Stones, Johnny, Willie, Frank, Kurt, Courtney, Gaga, Lana, Taylor, and too many to name. DISGRACELAND is music history come to life through audio storytelling as you've never heard it before, with revealing facts: yes, assassins are the real reason the Beatles quit touring—reclaimed myths: no, Mama Cass didn't die from choking on a ham sandwich––and constant reckoning between art and artist––all told through the lens of true crime. This is the podcast for the self-proclaimed "Disgos", the musically obsessed and the true crime heads; the outsiders, the independent thinkers who know that the best history is the history that gets buried. DISGRACELAND is where host Jake Brennan tells the stories they didn't want told. The kind you'll end up telling someone else. Get ready to uncover hidden truths and buckle up for truly edge-of-your-seat storytelling. New, fully scripted, sound-designed episodes are released every Tuesday. Bonus chat-style episodes where Jake responds to voicemails, texts, and emails from Disgos hit on Thursdays, and "Rewind" episodes from our archive drop on Sundays. DISGRACELAND is not a journalistic podcast. It's an entertainment podcast inspired by true events. Certain dialogue and scenes are dramatized, as is common in scripted entertainment based on real stories. Sources and credits for each episode are available at www.disgracelandpod.com. To unlock ad-free listening, exclusive content, and connect with your fellow Disgos, go to www.disgracelandpod.com to become an All Access member. Rocka Rolla.

It’s an epic battle that would take a group of strangers, citizen sleuths from across the world, to crack the case and finally hold someone accountable. A podcast is like a radio program, with the difference that you can listen whenever and where ever you like. You can listen to a podcast through different platforms via the Internet.
In order to listen to a podcast you need access to a computer or a phone with Internet access. Then you need to find an app or website with a library of podcasts. American Podcasts is just one of all services you can use.
Which podcast is the most popular differs from day to day, depending on a lot of things. For an up-to-date list of the most popular podcasts right now, check out our top chart.
There are a lot of apps and websites available where you can listen to podcasts. Some podcasts are even exclusively available on a certain platform. The most used services today are Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Podtail.
Every day new podcasts are launched and some are ending. There are currently over 2 million podcasts available for streaming, from all over the world. To find new, interesting podcasts we recommend using our Trending chart or our top chart.
Basically anyone can launch their own podcast but if you want to really build an audience you need:
Yes, basically! All you really need is a computer or a phone with Internet access. After that you need to record your content and upload it to what is called a "podcast host" which makes your episodes available to the Internet.
To record a podcast you need an app or software that records sound. For phones there are a bunch of apps to record with, and for computers a lot of people use a free piece of software called Audacity.
When you have recorded your podcast and uploaded it to your podcast host it’s time to get the word out there. Maybe you want your podcast to be available on Apple Podcasts or Spotify? Different platforms have different procedures for getting listed in their libraries and the podcast host often makes sure you’r podcast gets out there. Services like Add My Podcast make it possible to submit your feed to many services at once.

You know Roald Dahl as the writer who thought up Willy Wonka, Matilda, and the BFG. But did you know he was also a spy? "The Secret World of Roald Dahl" is a wild journey through the hidden chapters of his extraordinary, controversial life. How did this secret agent and struggling screenwriter wind up as the most successful children’s author ever? And what darkness from his covert past seeped into the stories we read as kids? A dark, twisty, fascinating true story from creator and host Aaron Tracy.
In "Hardcore History" journalist and broadcaster Dan Carlin takes his "Martian", unorthodox way of thinking and applies it to the past. Was Alexander the Great as bad a person as Adolf Hitler? What would Apaches with modern weapons be like? Will our modern civilization ever fall like civilizations from past eras? This isn't academic history (and Carlin isn't a historian) but the podcast's unique blend of high drama, masterful narration and Twilight Zone-style twists has entertained millions of listeners.
We tell our children unsettling fairy tales to teach them valuable lessons, but these Cautionary Tales are for the education of the grown ups – and they are all true. Tim Harford (Financial Times, BBC, author of “The Data Detective”) brings you stories of awful human error, tragic catastrophes, and hilarious fiascos. They'll delight you, scare you, but also make you wiser. New episodes every Friday.
Learn from history's greatest entrepreneurs. Every week I read a biography of an entrepreneur and find ideas you can use in your work. This quote explains why: "There are thousands of years of history in which lots and lots of very smart people worked very hard and ran all types of experiments on how to create new businesses, invent new technology, new ways to manage etc. They ran these experiments throughout their entire lives. At some point, somebody put these lessons down in a book. For very little money and a few hours of time, you can learn from someone’s accumulated experience. There is so much more to learn from the past than we often realize. You could productively spend your time reading experiences of great people who have come before and you learn every time." —Marc Andreessen
Season 12 premiered October 20, 2024 – a nonfictional account of The Martian Revolution of 2247. Mike Duncan is taking everything he's learned from 12 seasons of historical revolutions - the repeating arcs, characters, ideas, events, and patterns which all revolutions seem to follow - and created a fictional history of the Martian Revolution of 2247. The series is written from the point of view of a historian working hundreds of years after the Martian Revolution and will be presented in the style and format of previous seasons of Revolutions. It will look, sound, and feel like a Mike Duncan history podcast…but will instead be a fictional narrative of a gripping science-fiction epic. Revolutions is a podcast that covers the great political revolutions that have defined the modern world. Each season is a long-form narrative covering a different defining revolutionary epoch across three hundred years of history. It explores in great detail the people, ideas, and events that challenged and toppled outdated regimes and replaced them with new governments. After more than 350 episodes over ten seasons of narrative nonfiction, the 12th season is a fictional account of the Martian Revolution of 2247. *BREAKING NEWS* In the fall of 2025, the Revolutions podcast will return to its roots by diving into the great revolutions of the 20th century. The new run of episodes begins with the story of Irish Independence, a dramatic upheaval in the wake of WWI that saw Ireland free itself from centuries of English rule. Full of inspiring personalities, tragic events, and thrilling triumphs, Irish Independence is one of the most gripping events in revolutionary history. Future seasons will plunge ahead through the turbulent 20th century, and include the Spanish Civil War, the Cuban Revolution, and the Algerian War of Independence.
A history podcast looking at the collapse of a different civilization each episode. What did they have in common? Why did they fall? And what did it feel like to watch it happen?

Maria is just an average, middle American housewife and homesteader who never gave gambling much thought until she became addicted to slot games last summer. At her lowest point, God showed her that her compulsive gambling addiction, like many other addictions, was a spiritual attack. Maria published her book, "The Feeling Better: 10-4 Program" in March, 2023 and simultaneously launched this podcast. She addresses compulsive gambling and addiction from the spiritual perspective, helping those who are stuck in the dark pit of addiction to defeat the enemy and find victory. Througout her podcast, Maria Simon shares her own devastating journey and what led to her downfall and ultimately, her redemption and recovery. The raw emotion of her ordeal, her inspiring words of wisdom, and the practical, spiritual encouragement laid out each week can help anyone--Christian believer or not--to overcome their compulsive addiction once and for all.

Inside each episode, we go beyond business tips and trends and dive into: Mental, emotional, physical & spiritual health/wellness. Career longevity and avoiding burnout. People-first leadership and culture building. Team dynamics, partnership, and belonging. Soul-led business and aligned success. Stories and education on the real, lived experience of life behind the chair, in salons/spas, in treatment rooms, in schools, and inside growing brands. You'll hear powerful conversations with beauty and wellness professionals, salon and spa owners, educators, corporate leaders, brand founders, wellness thought leaders and most importantly, we're here to amplify the voices of the beauty & wellness industry. Because we believe something deeply: The professionals in this industry change lives every single day. The confidence you build, the space you hold, the care you give, it creates impact far beyond the mirror. You are part of a ripple effect that shapes communities, families, and culture. This podcast exists to honor that, elevate that, and support the humans behind the work so we can build thriving careers, healthy lives, and a more sustainable future for the industry. When we take care of the people who take care of everyone else, that ripple effect changes the world. Welcome to the community! The transmission of dance from body to body, audience to audience, is what keeps dance alive. Repertory - choreographies from the past, revived, and performed again in the present - is a way of connecting us to work from the past.
