A podcast is like a radio program, with the difference that you can listen whenever and where ever you like. You can listen to a podcast through different platforms via the Internet.
In order to listen to a podcast you need access to a computer or a phone with Internet access. Then you need to find an app or website with a library of podcasts. American Podcasts is just one of all services you can use.
Which podcast is the most popular differs from day to day, depending on a lot of things. For an up-to-date list of the most popular podcasts right now, check out our top chart.
There are a lot of apps and websites available where you can listen to podcasts. Some podcasts are even exclusively available on a certain platform. The most used services today are Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Podtail.
Every day new podcasts are launched and some are ending. There are currently over 2 million podcasts available for streaming, from all over the world. To find new, interesting podcasts we recommend using our Trending chart or our top chart.
Basically anyone can launch their own podcast but if you want to really build an audience you need:
Yes, basically! All you really need is a computer or a phone with Internet access. After that you need to record your content and upload it to what is called a "podcast host" which makes your episodes available to the Internet.
To record a podcast you need an app or software that records sound. For phones there are a bunch of apps to record with, and for computers a lot of people use a free piece of software called Audacity.
When you have recorded your podcast and uploaded it to your podcast host it’s time to get the word out there. Maybe you want your podcast to be available on Apple Podcasts or Spotify? Different platforms have different procedures for getting listed in their libraries and the podcast host often makes sure you’r podcast gets out there. Services like Add My Podcast make it possible to submit your feed to many services at once.

Learn from history's greatest entrepreneurs. Every week I read a biography of an entrepreneur and find ideas you can use in your work. This quote explains why: "There are thousands of years of history in which lots and lots of very smart people worked very hard and ran all types of experiments on how to create new businesses, invent new technology, new ways to manage etc. They ran these experiments throughout their entire lives. At some point, somebody put these lessons down in a book. For very little money and a few hours of time, you can learn from someone’s accumulated experience. There is so much more to learn from the past than we often realize. You could productively spend your time reading experiences of great people who have come before and you learn every time." —Marc Andreessen

When the lights are off and the room is quiet, there is a moment where your mind starts to imagine things you cannot see, and that is exactly where Horror Stories Podcast begins. If you have ever stayed awake listening to Historias de terror, replaying Historias de terror cortas in your head, remembering old historias de miedo someone told you years ago, then you already understand the feeling that lives inside Horror Stories Podcast. People who search for Relatos de terror, who listen to Historias paranormales, who read every Creepypasta late at night, who grew up hearing Leyendas de terror, who never forgot those Cuentos de terror, who still remember old Leyendas, who love classic horror movies, who watch every scary movie, and who keep looking for real true horror, are not just looking for stories… they are looking for that sensation that makes the dark feel alive. That is why Horror Stories Podcast feels familiar from the first second, because Horror Stories Podcast speaks to the part of you that has always been curious about fear. There is something strange about people who enjoy Historias de terror, because even when Historias de terror cortas scare them, they want to hear more. Even when historias de miedo make them look over their shoulder, they keep listening. Even when the Relatos de terror sound too real, they cannot stop. That same feeling returns every time you hear Historias paranormales, every time a new Creepypasta sounds possible, every time the old Leyendas de terror feel like warnings, every time the Cuentos de terror stay in your mind, every time the ancient Leyendas seem connected, every time scenes from horror movies come back at night, every time a scary movie leaves you in silence, every time the feeling of true horror stays longer than it should. That is the feeling that defines Horror Stories Podcast, because Horror Stories Podcast was created for listeners who recognize that fear can feel strangely familiar and impossible to forget.Inside Horror Stories Podcast, every episode feels like sitting in the dark while someone starts telling Historias de terror as if they really happened. The kind of Historias de terror cortas you heard when you were younger, the kind of historias de miedo that stayed with you for years, the kind of Relatos de terror that sound like memories instead of fiction. In Horror Stories Podcast, the Historias paranormales feel close, every Creepypasta feels real, the Leyendas de terror sound older than anyone remembers, the Cuentos de terror feel like warnings, the old Leyendas never disappear, the images from horror movies return when the lights go off, every scary movie feels connected, and the sensation of true horror becomes impossible to ignore. That is why so many listeners return to Horror Stories Podcast, because Horror Stories Podcast is not only about stories, it is about recognition, memory, and the strange feeling that you have heard something like this before.People who stay with Horror Stories Podcast understand something most never say out loud… the reason we listen to Historias de terror is because part of us wants to feel that chill again. The same chill from those Historias de terror cortas, the same tension from those historias de miedo, the same curiosity from the Relatos de terror, the same doubt from the Historias paranormales, the same obsession with every Creepypasta, the same fascination with the Leyendas de terror, the same silence after the Cuentos de terror, the same mystery inside the old Leyendas, the same images from horror movies, the same fear after a scary movie, the same echo of true horror that stays long after the story ends.

We’re here to talk about the real stuff underneath it: the disconnection, the imbalance, and how we can start to change it.The ManFlu is a metaphor we use to dig into something deeper: the cultural scripts, gender roles, and unspoken rules that keep men sidelined and leave women carrying more than their share of the mental and emotional load.Host Lucy McAfee has spent years studying how gender dynamics play out at home. As a wife and boy mom, she’s still working them out in her own family. Each week, The ManFlu brings together researchers, thinkers, and families themselves to explore emotional labor, modern partnerships, and how we raise more connected boys. Together, we examine why these patterns persist, how they affect families, and the practical shifts that build stronger partnerships today and help break old patterns for the next generation. You’ll leave each episode not just nodding along, but equipped with one small shift you can try at home.Join us to lighten the load and build a future where women and men can both show up as their whole selves. New episodes drop every Wednesday, follow the show so you don’t miss one. And share it with your friends, because no one should have to face the ManFlu epidemic alone.Follow Lucy on Instagram @lucypmcafee for more on gender dynamics, mental and emotional load, and raising boys who care.
