Argentine journalist, novelist, and short story writer
Mariana Enríquez (born 1973) is an Argentine journalist, novelist, and short story writer. She is a part of the group of writers known as "new Argentine narrative". Her short stories fall within the horror and gothic genres and have been published in international magazines such as Granta, Electric Literature, Asymptote, McSweeney's, Virginia Quarterly Review, and The New Yorker. Early life. Enríquez was born in 1973 in Buenos Aires, and grew up in Valentín Alsina, a suburb in the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area.
