MSNBC

American television news channel

MSNBC is an American cable news channel owned by the NBCUniversal News Group division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. First launched on July 15, 1996, and headquartered at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan, the channel primarily broadcasts news coverage and liberal political commentary. The network was first established in 1996 as a joint venture between NBC News and Microsoft (hence its name being a portmanteau of "MSN" and "NBC"), consisting of the cable network and the MSNBC.com website. Microsoft divested its ownership stake in the MSNBC channel in 2005, followed by MSNBC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSNBC
