Jan Ivarsson (born 1931) is a Swedish translation scholar specialised in the field of audiovisual translation. Life. Ivarsson studied mathematics, physics, literature, Scandinavian languages and English at Uppsala University. He was very involved in student theatre and later worked at the municipal theatre.
