Carlton George Douglas (born 10 May 1942) is a Jamaican-British singer best known for his 1974 disco single "Kung Fu Fighting". Based in the United Kingdom, Douglas released three studio albums, most notably Kung Fu Fighting and Other Great Love Songs (1975), before fading into cultural obscurity as a one-hit wonder. Early life. Douglas was born in Kingston. He later lived in the U.S. state of California before relocating to London as a teenager.
