GCS < 15 after 2 hours
Open/depressed skull fracture
Signs of basal skull fracture
> 2 episodes of emesis
≥ 30 minutes of amnesia
Significant mechanism (peds vs auto, ejected passenger, fall from ≥ 3 feet or 5 stairs)

He serves as director of the Inherited Colorectal Cancer and Familial Polyposis registry at WashU Medicine and the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center.

Jeffrey Blatnik, MD, co-editor of the Washington Manual of Surgery, is chief of the Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Department of Surgery at WashU Medicine.
