Life is messy and full of highs and lows and most of us live in societies that subtly encourage us to disconnect from our bodies and our emotions. Some of us can turn to addictions and crutches to numb ourselves from life's challenges, while others may use spirituality as a form of bypassing reality or avoiding emotional and physical discomfort.
The path of the Professional Human is one of body and soul harmony. It is a path of celebration and presence. When we can honor ALL of our emotions and experiences as events that are happening FOR us instead of TO us, we begin to live life in a more authentic and sovereign way, which is the greatest gift we can give to humanity. It's not about perfection. It's about loving the parts of ourselves we've been taught to hate and judge and becoming our own best parent, lover, provider and advocate. It's about accepting life, ourselves and others right where we are....and we are right where we need to be and right on time.
