Like the men who played the game and stayed involved forever, these fans are baseball lifers. I became a fan at age 8, broadcast for a dozen years in the minors and have remained a fan in the two decades since I left the booth. During this series, I'll talk about the sport I've studied about and the sport I remember. Great games, memorable past World Series and the players who made them happen are the subjects for this new series.
